New revelations are fueling speculation that the federal government may be quietly preparing for what could become one of the most explosive disclosures in modern history by going public with the acknowledgment that humanity may not be alone.
According to reports, officials within President Donald Trump’s administration have been consulting with figures in the UFO research community as questions continue to mount over decades of classified government files, military encounters, and unexplained aerial phenomena.
The claims come as the White House continues releasing previously classified material related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), the government’s preferred term for what most Americans know as UFOs.
For decades, critics have accused governments around the world of concealing information about unexplained encounters, warning that a full disclosure could trigger widespread political, cultural, and religious upheaval.
UFO Researchers Claim White House Seeking Disclosure Advice
Investigative journalist and longtime UFO researcher Jeremy Corbell claims administration officials have sought his input regarding how the public might react if the government were to formally acknowledge evidence of non-human intelligence.
“Officials from the White House and the Department of Defense have, in official capacity, sought my counsel on communications strategy and terminology — specifically in preparation for a potential formal announcement by President Trump regarding UAP reality and non-human intelligence,” Corbell said.
“These consultations took place over the past six months, via video conference, with multiple communications officials who wanted to be the most informed person in the room when disclosure planning begins.
“They don’t yet know how far the President is willing to take this.
“They are preparing for a range of outcomes.
“That preparation is real, and it is underway.”
The White House did not confirm Corbell’s account.
The Pentagon told reporters it was unaware of any formal strategy meetings involving Corbell.
However, Corbell is not the only prominent figure making such claims.
NewsNation journalist Ross Coulthart, who has extensively reported on alleged government secrecy surrounding UFOs, has similarly said administration officials have contacted him regarding disclosure-related issues.
New Government Releases Raise More Questions
The latest speculation follows the release of additional government footage showing unexplained aerial objects.
One video reportedly shows an object accelerating at extraordinary speed over Syria, while another appears to capture a disc-shaped object traversing mountainous terrain without any visible propulsion system.
While the footage stops short of proving extraterrestrial origins, it has intensified questions about what federal agencies know and whether more information remains hidden from the public.
Many UFO researchers argue that recent disclosures represent only a fraction of the information allegedly held within government archives.
Religious Leaders Could Play Key Role
According to reports, officials are also examining how major religious institutions might respond if evidence of non-human intelligence were ever publicly acknowledged.
Some researchers believe faith leaders could play an important role in helping communities process such a revelation.
Vice President JD Vance has previously discussed the UFO phenomenon from a Christian perspective.
“I think they’re demons,” Vance said during an interview earlier this year.
“I don’t think they’re aliens.
“There are weird things out there that are very difficult to explain.
“When I hear about extra natural phenomenon, that’s where I go to: The Christian understanding that there’s a lot of good out there, but there’s also evil out there.
“And I think that one of the devil’s great tricks is to convince people he never existed.”
His comments highlight the growing debate over how unexplained phenomena should be interpreted if governments eventually acknowledge that some incidents remain beyond current scientific understanding.
Decades of Secrecy Under Renewed Scrutiny
Questions surrounding UFOs have intensified since former intelligence official David Grusch alleged that the federal government has operated secret programs involving recovered non-human technology.
Those allegations remain unproven, but they have fueled growing public pressure for greater transparency.
Meanwhile, several prominent figures within President Trump’s orbit have publicly expressed support for releasing more information.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has previously said he would favor maximum transparency regarding UFO records, while Secretary of State Marco Rubio has long advocated for greater public disclosure surrounding unexplained military encounters.
Supporters of disclosure argue that the greatest risk is no longer the revelation itself, but the possibility that Americans could discover they have been misled for decades.
Whether any formal announcement is actually being considered remains unclear.
But as classified files continue to emerge and pressure for answers grows, the debate over what the government knows, and what it may still be hiding, shows no sign of fading.
