A photograph of a mystery being has caused a stir in Mexico, as some believe the creature is connected to the killings of chickens, roosters, and rabbits in the area.

The picture was taken along the US-Mexico border, near rural farm communities along the Rio Grande, and was flagged by UFO investigator Jaime Maussan, who has a history of strange claims about UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

Now, a team of people working with Maussan says they have found proof of the unknown creature’s existence, as the photographs, revealed on October 17, show an odd white animal climbing over a wall.

They added that the being did not appear to resemble any other common animal found in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico.

According to Maussan, witness reports have also been gathered regarding the alleged animal attacks, stating that the animal appeared human-like and was several feet long.

While he said it may not be an extraterrestrial, he added that the creature could be some kind of intelligence crossing over from another dimension.

Speaking to reporters, he said, “Why did it appear there? It’s a mystery. Are they interdimensional beings? Are they beings who came with other beings? Did they come in ships?”

While Maussan remains certain of the creature’s existence and connection to deadly attacks, authorities with Juárez Civil Protection said they have not received any such reports of the being.

On Saturday, four research assistants working with Maussan said in a press conference that they have estimated the size of the creature by comparing it to the large bricks in the wall it was climbing. They believe it measures almost six feet in length, while its tail looks to be about three feet long on its own.

Maussan also suggested the unknown entity was capable of walking on its hind legs, but no photos captured this.

According to animal specialists who were allegedly brought in by the team, the being was not a common mammal found on Earth, but it could be “mutating”.

Maussan told NetNoticias.Mx, “It’s a predator. I’m not saying it’s extraterrestrial, but it’s scary. Its intelligence and agility are truly frightening. I don’t believe it attacks people, but it is affecting the interests of those who live in the so-called Juárez Valley.”

The UFO investigator compared the organism to the ‘El Ser de Metepec’ case, which he looked into in 2007. He said this creature was like an adult version of the hairless being discovered by a farmer near Mexico City that year.

The troubling theories have reportedly driven some residents to leave their homes because they are terrified of the unknown animal, according to Maussan. Authorities have yet to confirm this, however.

Meanwhile, police on the U.S. side of the border where the animal was allegedly discovered told the El Paso Times that there have been no reports of farm animal deaths or unexplained encounters since Maussan made the bizarre claims at the beginning of October.
