Here is the latest update with the Canadian truckers and leftist organization, GoFundMe. As many of you may be aware, GoFundMe and the Canadian government canceled the donations that had reached close to $9 million. Below is the post the company placed on their website: We are automatically refunding your Freedom Convoy 2022 donation.
GoFundMe supports peaceful protests and we believe that was the intention of the Freedom Convoy 2022 fundraiser when it was first created. However, as a result of multiple discussions with local law enforcement and police reports of violence and other unlawful activity, the Freedom Convoy fundraiser has been removed from the GoFundMe platform.
The update we issued earlier enabled all donors to get a refund and outlined a plan to distribute remaining funds to verified charities selected by the Freedom Convoy organizers. However, due to donor feedback, we are simplifying the process for you. We will automatically refund your contributions directly – you do not need to submit a request. You can expect to see your refund within 7 – 10 business days.
This is simply not true! Although it may be lengthy process, we cannot let them get away with it. One way to hit them where it hurts is to dispute the transaction with the bank, but please, whatever you do, DO NOT FILL OUT A REFUND FORM. You can request a charge-back form and open a dispute with your bank. Charge-backs occur when a donor contacts their card issuer to dispute the donation they made to GoFundMe. By doing this, GoFundMe will have to pay a $15 fee, possibly even more for each dispute. This is how all banks work. If GoFundMe is forced to pay a fee on every transaction donated, they stand to lose a ton of money. This is the way to fight back.
GoFundMe is a radical San Francisco, California-based company, who supports terrorist organizations such as Black Lives Matter (BLM), Planned Parenthood, and Antifa-occupied CHOP zone in Seattle, Washington. They seem to back only leftist organizations, while banning conservatives, which is the favorite strategy of Big Tech these days. This process is known as denial-of-service (DDOS). This is a peaceful and collective way to fight back. These leftists at GoFundMe actually thought they could redistribute the money elsewhere. This should be a wake up call for every freedom loving person around the world.
