Is the La Palma Volcano Headed For A Catastrophic Blow-off

Even though La Palma has been quiet for 2 days, scientists believe the vent may be blocked. If pressure builds up inside & is diverted, this can lead to catastrophic blow-off. The larger the eruption, the more gases go into upper atmosphere. Besides the tsunami threat, if major eruption occurs again, this can be devastating to the planet. For all you historians out there, Mount Tambora comes to mind, back in 1815. The year after that lower global temperatures were seen, along with crop failure & famine.
