Report: Obama ‘Involved’ in Foreign Biolabs Developing Deadly Pathogens

A bombshell new report is raising alarming new questions about former President Barack Obama’s role in the creation and expansion of a sprawling network of U.S.-backed biological laboratories developing deadly pathogens around the world.

The revelations come just days after outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified intelligence documents confirming the existence of roughly 120 U.S.-funded biolabs across dozens of countries, including more than 40 facilities in Ukraine.

For years, concerns about these laboratories were dismissed by corporate media outlets, government officials, and so-called “fact-checkers” as conspiracy theories.

However, Gabbard’s newly released documents have reignited scrutiny of the controversial program and the politicians who helped build it.

Gabbard’s Biolab Revelations Spark New Questions

As Slay News previously reported, Gabbard’s declassified intelligence revealed that numerous U.S.-funded laboratories overseas have handled and developed dangerous pathogens, including facilities in Ukraine that stored biological agents from the former Soviet Union’s weapons programs.

The documents also revealed that some facilities conducted gain-of-function research, the highly controversial practice of manipulating pathogens to make them more transmissible or deadly.

Gabbard blasted government officials and public health figures who spent years denying the existence of the biolabs.

“Politicians, so-called health professionals like Dr. Fauci, and entities within the Biden administration’s national security team lied to the American people about the existence of U.S.-funded and supported biolabs,” Gabbard said.

The disclosures have now prompted renewed attention on reporting that traces the origins of some of these facilities back to Obama.

Obama Partnership Linked to Ukraine Biolab Program

According to a report highlighted by Gateway Pundit editor Jim Hoft, a now-deleted 2010 article from BioPrepWatch documented the opening of a biological laboratory in Odesa, Ukraine.

The article quoted former Sen. Richard Lugar (R-IN), who stated that planning for the facility began in 2005 through a partnership involving himself, then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) and Ukrainian officials.

Lugar reportedly described the project as part of a long-running “threat reduction” initiative designed to secure biological, chemical, and nuclear materials left behind after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The report further stated that Obama and Lugar helped coordinate research efforts between American and Ukrainian scientists focused on avian influenza and other infectious diseases.

At the time, the program was publicly presented as a public health and biosecurity initiative.

However, critics now argue that the true scope of the program remained hidden from the American public for years.

Gain-of-Function Concerns Return to the Spotlight

The controversy surrounding the biolabs has intensified because of the growing debate over gain-of-function research following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Many researchers and lawmakers have warned that experiments involving enhanced pathogens carry enormous risks if containment failures occur.

Gabbard’s declassified documents revealed that some overseas facilities possessed permits to work with “especially dangerous pathogens,” including highly pathogenic avian influenza.

The newly released intelligence has fueled calls for greater transparency regarding what research was conducted inside these laboratories, who funded it, and what oversight existed.

Hunter Biden, Metabiota, and Ukraine Connections

The biolab controversy has also renewed scrutiny of Metabiota, a U.S.-linked biotechnology company that participated in biological research programs in Ukraine.

Metabiota previously attracted attention because of its connections to Hunter Biden’s investment firm, Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners.

The company has also faced questions over biosafety practices and its involvement in international pathogen research programs.

Those connections have become a focal point for critics who argue that powerful political and corporate interests worked together to shield the public from learning the full extent of America’s overseas biolab operations.

Calls Grow for Full Accountability

With Gabbard’s disclosures now officially confirming the existence of a vast network of U.S.-funded biolabs, pressure is mounting for a full accounting of how the facilities were established, what research they conducted, and who authorized their operations.

For years, Americans were told such concerns were nothing more than “conspiracy theories.”

Now, with the intelligence community itself acknowledging the existence of the laboratories, many are demanding answers about the officials who helped create them and why the public was kept in the dark for so long.

As more documents continue to emerge, questions surrounding the global biolab network, gain-of-function research, and the political figures connected to both are only growing louder.
