Amid all the craziness of the past few days, I missed this new FBI PSA on Swatting. The vast majority of swattings are committed by members of the Com network, with several recent high profile incidents coming from the 764 network, specificially. One thing they are missing in this PSA (and something which I have said repeatedly) is that you should NOT POST ABOUT A SWATTING INCIDENT PUBLICLY. Doing so confirms your information to the swatters. Furthermore, swatters are usually counting on a big reaction. If you pretend it didn’t happen there is a good chance they will not do it again. On the other hand, if you sperg out and blame ANTIFA/Ukraine/ CIA/The Jews/etc. for it, the swattings are more likely to continue. Be smart, stay safe!
