Trump and James Comer Have a Few Things to Say About Those Biden Classified Docs

After the discovery that Joe Biden had classified documents from when he was vice president in his office — taking them and having them for years improperly — you know that there’s one guy who would have a lot to say on the matter — that’s President Donald Trump.

“When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House?” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Monday. “These documents were definitely not declassified.”

Exactly. Trump has purview over presidential records and he could declassify them. Joe Biden had no such leeway to take away records. What was he doing with those records, almost six years later, at an office at the Penn-Biden Center in Washington, D.C.? And what other records might he have? Are they going to raid his homes now, as Trump suggested to find out what else he might have taken away? We all know that isn’t going to be the case. Just one more example of different treatment in a morass of different treatment. As I wrote earlier the media is already desperately trying to spin this find as somehow apples and oranges from Trump. It is apples and oranges — it doesn’t have any justification at all for Biden and he held the documents for years.

This has been known for months now, but they failed to mention it before the election and are only coming out with it now.

But let’s hear about how serious this is from …. Joe Biden.

Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the new Chair of the House Oversight Committee, said that he would be inquiring into the matter and talking with the National Archives about the documents.

“Under the Biden Administration, the Department of Justice and National Archives have made compliance with the Presidential Records Act a top priority,” Comer said in a statement. He said that they expected the “same treatment” for Joe Biden “who has apparently inappropriately maintained classified documents in an insecure setting for several years.”

Comer said he “wants answers” as to why Biden has not been raided when former President Trump was. He said the news of the Biden docs makes it appear that there is a “two tier justice system.”

Comer is already investigating whether or not Joe Biden was compromised by the various conflicts and issues connected to the Biden foreign business dealings that also involved his son and brother.

So add one more into that kit bag of things that now need to be investigated about Joe Biden.
