President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he will deliver a primetime address later this week focused on the 2020 presidential election, saying the American people will hear “really, really big news” concerning election integrity.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said the Thursday evening address will center on what he described as significant new developments related to the disputed 2020 election.
Trump Teases Major Election Announcement
“It’s really, really big news, and our country has to shape up,” Trump told reporters.
“But that’s what we’re going to be talking about Thursday.
“It doesn’t get bigger because without free and fair elections you don’t have a country.”
According to Trump, the speech will address longstanding concerns surrounding the 2020 election, including allegations involving foreign interference, voting machines, and election integrity.
Trump is also expected to discuss newly declassified information that his administration says sheds additional light on issues surrounding the 2020 election.
CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Acting Director of National Intelligence Bill Pulte are expected to participate in the presentation.
Pulte has overseen a review of documents slated for declassification.

FBI Expands Georgia Election Investigation
Trump’s announcement comes as federal investigators continue reviewing evidence connected to the 2020 election in Georgia.
The FBI has directed additional personnel to assist with an ongoing investigation centered on Fulton County, according to an internal bureau memorandum.
The memo called for approximately 260 investigative analysts and staff operations specialists from FBI field offices across the country to support what it described as a “priority investigation.”
Each analyst has reportedly been assigned approximately 708 records checks with a July 17 deadline.
The bureau also authorized overtime, including weekends and holidays, while the FBI’s Atlanta Field Office is providing training for the operation.
The analysts assigned to the review specialize in records analysis rather than criminal investigations.
The expanded effort builds on an investigation that has been underway for months.
In January, federal agents executed a search at an election warehouse in Fulton County, where they seized more than 600 boxes of materials, including original 2020 election ballots, voter rolls, tabulation tapes, and ballot images.
The latest deployment of personnel represents a significant expansion of resources dedicated to reviewing the evidence collected during that operation.
Trump’s Thursday address is expected to provide additional details about the declassified information and the administration’s latest findings concerning the 2020 election.
