When I originally wrote The Prepper’s Handbook I had no idea the journey I had begun. It would ultimately determine what I wanted to do in life. My goal was to capture my prepper experience and knowledge and pass it on. I had no idea that others were on a similar journey, or even more surprising, interested in my journey. In my wildest dreams I had no idea that I would enjoy writing books; after all, in college I had to take English 101 five times before I passed. I had no experience or knowledge in how to create a book cover or format the interior of a book. I had no background in marketing or social media. These are things I have learned and look forward to as I continue my writings. My greatest accomplishment is the impact that my writings and hands-on prepping experience has had on my youngest son. Not only does he actively participate in prepping but he, too, has begun to write his first book. My dream is that one day he will continue to update and expand my writings. I’m excited for him and love watching him develop and find his own future.
