ISRAEL RUNS ADS FOR IRAN WAR IN IOWA DURING MIDTERMS

The government of Israel—not AIPAC, not an American advocacy group—is buying television time in Iowa during the midterms to sell the Iran war to U.S. voters.

Zeteo reported that Israel is airing the spots in Iowa, where the Iran war has become a central issue in the Senate race. One ad declares that Israel “confronts Iran and its network of proxies directly,” claiming the campaign will “deter aggression” and “stop a wider conflict.”

The ads are not a stray act of private lobbying. The Justice Department’s FARA records identify Brad Parscale’s Clock Tower X LLC as a registered agent for the State of Israel through Havas Media Germany GmbH. FARA materials carry the disclosure: “This material is distributed by Clock Tower X LLC on behalf of the State of Israel.”

Axios reported that Clock Tower X contracted with Israel’s Foreign Ministry to execute a nationwide media campaign, with content aimed heavily at Gen Z audiences across digital and broadcast outlets.

The country of Israel is running political ads for the Iran war in Iowa during midterms.

Trump has endorsed Netanyahu, whom Vance declined to endorse.

Netanyahu didn’t support Trump’s re-election bid in 2024, instead hedging his bets.

The Des Moines Register reported that related Israel-backed mailers reached areas of at least two competitive Iowa races. Those mailers did not name or endorse candidates, and Parscale did not explain whether they aimed at particular contests.

But the political ground is not neutral. AP reported that Iran-war advertising has become a major weapon in Iowa’s Senate race. Israel has now entered that fight itself, broadcasting its own case for the Iran war into an American election battleground.
