Number 2: Arizona
Also holding its 2015 rank is Arizona, which takes the silver medal for mineral production value. Arizona leads the country in copper production and is one of the primary sources of molybdenum as well. In fact, Arizona’s molybdenum wealth is largely related to its copper wealth, as the molybdenum is recovered as a byproduct of the copper mining.

- Percent of U.S. Total Value: 7.45
- Principal minerals in order of value: Copper, sand and gravel (construction), molybdenum concentrates, cement (portland), stone (crushed).
Arizona is a peach ripe for the picking. Deep State money is aggressively posturing to grab control of mining rights. Obama judges in place. We are watching the real time ravaging of the Navajo people. They have been irradiated for decades causing mind bending amounts of suffering and deprivation of even the most basic needs of life. And now… the table is being set to rob and pillage those people to the very end. The numbers above are just what they want us to know. There is a vast wealth of precious metals, uranium in particular, and rare forms of sand and quartz needed for computer chips. Lots of battery material as well. The plan? Simple, it’s what “they” always do. Buy off the local officials who sign away the rights of the land; stack the courts; get their political apparatus in line to do everything with taxpayer dollars and rape the land… and those living on it. From World War II until 1971, the government was the sole purchaser of uranium ore in the United States. Uranium mining occurred mostly in the southwestern United States and drew many Native Americans and others into work in the mines and mills. Despite a long and well-developed understanding, based on the European experience earlier in the century, that uranium mining led to high rates of lung cancer, few protections were provided for US miners before 1962 and their adoption after that time was slow and incomplete. The resulting high rates of illness among miners led in 1990 to passage of the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act.
